Environmental Education

At Mama Montessori we have a deep respect for nature. We believe that environmental education is a fundamental aspect of modern education.  We regularly take the children out into nature. We plant trees, vegetables, flowers together. We encourage the children to learn, love and protect nature through a range of environmental activities 

At Mama Montessori, natural materials are preferred in the prepared environment. Real wood, reeds, bamboo, metal, cotton, and glass are preferred to synthetics or plastics
